CraftNight: Performative Clay Workshop with some times and Clay Night

Thursday, October 1 | 7:00–9:00pm 
In the courtyard 

*Project demonstrations at 7:00pm & 7:30pm (Galleries open 6:30pm–9:30pm) 
$8/free for members (includes materials, drinks, and snacks) 

Artist Meghan Gordon’s performance space and bar, some times, teams up with social group Clay Night for a unique night of socializing, drinking, and collaborating through clay! Members of Clay Night will lead participants through experimenting and working with clay, while some times hosts the bar. Participants will leave their clay objects for Clay Night to glaze and fire and will be available for pick-up at a later date at CAFAM.

Craft & Folk Art Museum’s 2015 is celebrating our 50th Anniversary on Museum Row. The Craft Affair, which includes a cocktail reception and silent auction, will celebrate the A.F. Gilmore Company and artist Phyllis Green. Each of these honorees has made monumental contributions to the museum and to the community.

A CraftLab Family Workshop
with Mark Montano

Join us for a hypnotizing CraftLab hosted by television personality Mark Montano as he unveils his very own spin art machine made from a household fan! Then join the fun and experimentation by making your own spin art at our various spinning stations using watercolors, paint, and markers... spin away everything!!!
