Pangea Day: Think Globally, Act Locally
Saturday, May 10, 2008

Can films change the world? Support our friends at PANGEA DAY and find out!

Leading film-makers are seeking to change the way we think about other countries. Take a look at this powerful series of films, to be shown on Pangea Day, May 10, "the day the world comes together through film".

Each one or two minute film features a choir in one country singing another country's national anthem: a simple idea full of emotional power, and one that reflects CAFAM's goal of championing cultural understanding. View France singing for the United States, Kenya singing for India, Japan singing for Turkey, and Australia singing for Lebanon.

Want to learn more about Pangea Day and how you can participate? Visit their website at www.pangeaday.org and read more about overcoming divisions through the power of the arts.
