Beauty at Your Feet: The Ancient Art of Rangoli

Join artist and educator Kusum Nairi to create a variety of Rangoli, one of the most popular art forms of India. For hundreds of years, Indian women have made these colorful paintings at the entrance to their homes to welcome others. Now you can make your own rangoli to take home and share with family and friends.

To take a child to a museum is a simple task, to make her relate to an artist – a Herculean challenge. What better way to get your children to appreciate an artist’s style and skill then to let them exercise their creativity?
Listen, Learn & Make offers a unique opportunity for curious children to explore their world through art and culture. The workshops, offered two Saturdays a month, feature hands-on activities, gallery exploration and storytelling. These workshops are the first step to Global Citizenship! Limited class sizes ensure plenty of personal attention.
